First and Foremost!

Welcome Aboard!

Let's face it, most of you will probably never see this post. You've either been a follower from the start, or your dredging up the past.  If you are following from the start, I'd like to sincerely thank you for the support. I'd also like to apologize beforehand for the grammatical chaos that is about to ensue. I have no writing background other than what I have, or more likely haven't, learned in high school. With that being said, buckle up and bear with me!

Who is I or me anyway? Allow me to introduce myself. My names Stan Krason and I'm 26 years old. I hail from Deerfield Beach, Florida and for the last 6 years I've been living in and around the tidewater area of Virginia, also known as Hampton Roads. I joined the U.S. Navy when I was 20 and have been stationed here ever since. Six years, two deployments, and one re-enlistment later I am now a Second Class Petty Officer serving my shore duty here in that same area.

When I first got here I thought it was going to be a huge let down like most. Now that I've settled in, I can tell you it is a fantastic place to be if you love the outdoors. The beaches are beautiful, and the bays and rivers run rich with life. There's even great deep sea fishing miles offshore if you can foot the bill for fuel. That's why I am starting this blog in hopes that the new 18 or 20 somethings, or anyone for that matter, can enjoy everything this area has to offer. If that sounds like something you'd be interested in, subscribe and stay tuned. I plan to post weekly reports, recommendations, and reviews. It took me a few years to get Hampton Roads figured out, now I want to fast track all of you to its amazing options.
